1. From 4 corsie Firenze-Siena
On the Siena ring road, follow direction Arezzo – Peruga
– A1. Past Siena South, turn right at a traffic light
direction Taverne d’Arbia – Asciano. Past Taverne
d’Arbia, follow the magnificent strada delle crete
Senesi (SP438) direction Asciano for +/- 20 km until Asciano.
In Asciano, turn right direction San Giovanni d’Asso
(SP451). Go to 3.
2. From the A1 coming from Bologna-Firenze or from
Rome
Take exit Val di Chiana and then follow direction Siena
de raccordo Bettolle-Siena (SS326) for 18 km until Serre
di Rapolano. Turn left direction Asciano (SP438) and follow
this road for 6 km until Asciano. In Asciano, turn left
direction San Giovanni d’Asso (SP451). Go to 3.
3. From Asciano to Ferranesi
Follow the road to San Giovanni d’Asso (SP451) for
9 km. At 500 m past the Chiusure turnoff, turn left onto
the strada della Ferranesi. Past 1,500 m of gravel road
you reach “Podere Ferranesi”.
